Type normal for plain English. It never asks for your name or email.
How the Picks Are Ranked
The Advisor does not pick favorites. A harness we call Occidental does the ranking, and it runs on Vyebe, the agent runner our sister company Clickflame built. The AI only asks the questions and writes the short intro. The scores come from plain rules and our catalog, so the same answers always give the same ranking.
- Intake. It learns your trade, team size, locations, budget, the tools you use and what you cannot live without.
- Candidates. It only looks at companies and products in our catalog. If it is not in the data, it is not on the list.
- Scores. Each pick gets 0 to 10 on six things: fit, scale, cost to own, support, lock-in risk and vendor health. Your answers set how much each one counts. A tight budget makes cost count more, for example.
- Evidence gate. Every line you see has to trace back to a field in our catalog, like a listed service or the year a company was founded. Anything we cannot back up gets dropped.
- Rank and explain. You get the top three to five, with a score bar for each reason, a one line why and a watch out.

Common Questions
Is the Stack Advisor free?
Yes. It is free to use and you do not need an account. It does not ask for your name or email. If you want a person to help, the Talk to a Tech button opens our contact form with your answers filled in.
Why does it talk in leetspeak?
It is part of the fun. Leetspeak swaps some letters for numbers, like h3y for hey. Press Normal mode or type normal and it switches to plain English for the rest of your visit. New to it? Try our leetspeak translator.
Where do the picks come from?
Only from our catalog. That is our company directory, checked in September 2026, plus our own services. The Advisor never names a company that is not in the data.
Does it show prices?
Only when our catalog has a price we checked on the company's own site. Most picks have no price in the catalog yet, so the Advisor tells you to ask for a written quote instead of guessing.
Will it always pick T3CHS?
No. T3CHS and our sister company Clickflame are scored by the same rules as everyone else, with no boost. When either one shows up, you will see a disclosure right next to the results.
Why are point of sale, computers and phones missing?
We have not checked those products yet. Rather than guess, the Advisor tells you it has no checked picks there and offers to put you in touch with a person.
